Welcome to the World-Wide Web home of the Child Health International Foundation! The work on this site started in 1995 with a single brochure, which was digitized and converted into a few fairly primitive Web pages. They were housed on the private account of Matvey Palchuk, a volunteer who is working on designing and maintaining this site. Since then we have come a long way, obtaining server space with the Three Rivers Free-Net of Pittsburgh, PA and establishing an Internet presence for the Foundation. Our immediate goals are to work on improving the contents of this site, adding more information about the Foundation itself and its initiatives, as well as people involved in its activity. The long-term goals are to provide the visitors with a wealth of information pertaining to the issues of child health in Eastern and Central Europe and Republic of Belarus in particular.
